SO FAR, SO JUNE.

For I am certain that not death, or life, or angels, or rulers, or things present, or things to come, or powers, Or things on high, or things under the earth, or anything which is made, will be able to come between us and the Love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
                                                                                                          - Romans 8: 38-39.

How have you been? and the month so far? June has been a great month! Full of wondrous testimonies and happenings and am glad this month came because its my best month so far (apart from it being my Birth month :p).
This blog has received close to 500 views in just a month of blogging (thanks y'll). For those who comment, like, subscribe and share my posts in my emails and all, can do more by commenting here.
I have been busy lately because I have started working, yh, I'm working and so far its been great and fun especially my one week journey/hustle of Ikorodu- Lekki (lol). Though I miss it a lot (-__-). And a whole lot been happening this month and I know July is gonna be better. One of the things I have learnt this much is:
    - A GOOD NAME IS BETTER THAN RICHES, SILVER OR GOLD. Don't tarnish your name or image for money or unnecessary pleasure, because people will Always Remember!
    - Keep Believing In what you want and God, though it may tarry but trust me, it will come and it will be worth the wait.
Even if not much as happened to you this month, the fact that you are alive to see the end of the month and read this post, you should be more than grateful. So tell me, what have you learnt this month? and your rating so far?

LIFE II JUMPING THE BUS.

From the first He was the Word, and the Word was in relation with God and was God.- John 1:1.

    Hey,
I am sure by the title of this post, you think I actually jumped a bus (lol), no I didn't instead, I decided to do something last week Friday which was quite challenging and fun for me as a first-timer. I took public transport on my own. Yh, I know most of you will be wondering why its a big deal for me but yes it is, quite everyone that knew me would wonder why I did it. Just felt like taking a challenge, considering I usually get car-sick, so I don't know my way around that much (usually sleep in the car)

So I decided to dress lowkey because I was going to the mall and I have heard a lot about people of the world when it comes to taking public transport (robberies, scam and all). Got all the information I needed to get to the mall (ICM). I stay at Ikorodu, so you can't get a direct BRT/Bus to Ikeja. Took a bus from Garage to Ketu, after much wasting time from the driver because he wanted to get the bus full, we started but shortly after, the bus had a breakdown on the way. We were so pissed, after wasting our time before starting , now your vehicle broke-down in the middle of the road. I was lucky to find a BRT bus just about to taking-off and not yet full, boarded it and saved my #100 (we passengers didn't pay the driver his money after wasting our time, so my money was saved). Getting to Ketu from the BRT, found out that there was no bus going to Ikeja, had to get a vehicle for #50 going to Ojota, to get to Ikeja.

Getting to Ojota, I had to start looking for the garage but got it through help from people, got a bus going to Ikeja for #100, an interesting crew it was in the bus. Was dropped off at Ikeja garage, where i boarded another bus to ICM for #50. *whew!* finally got to ICM, the humans I was to meet there weren't there yet, so I decided to do some shopping. I watched The Avengers (The Age of Ultron) , (yh, I am stale , I accept -__- ). It was very interesting and I am sure Bruce isn't dead, bruh can't die just like that.

After 2 hrs, decided to go home, because Ikorodu's traffic ain't beans. Didn't see a bus going to Ojota or Ikorodu, decided to take a bus going to CMS (I know that's very ridiculous, but i wanted to see more of Lagos and I know how to get a bus from there :p). Got to CMS, and found a BRT bus easily going to Ikorodu and I was relaxed.Transport wasn't expensive like I thought it would be. Got home safely. Thank God!! Ended my day with learning the Nae Nae and Whip dance.

I learnt a lot of things on this my little journey:
- People of the world are not as bad as people make them see: I went on this journey with quite a fear considering things I have heard, Prayed to get back home and no robbery and all. Got help from a lot of people I wouldn't have thought would, and made quite a few friends. It was worth all the risk.
- Lagos is a Beautiful Place with Beautiful People.
- This is something I would like to do again, especially ajebutter (tush kids) like me need to try this.
Yh, so you could see I had an exciting day.
I would like to hear of your experiences on your first bus experience or any.

                                                                                                                          Take Care,
                                                                                                                                  MW.

STYLE II CULOTTE

And my God will give you all you have need of from the wealth of His glory in Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:19.

         Hey Dear,
How was your weekend? and hope it was fun.
In the fashion world, we are in the Retro season (lot of 1960's comebacks), Culotte has come and been on trend for a while and I guess its here to stay. Culotte was initially worn by men in the 18th century, but trust we women to give them a run for their money (lol) and are in different forms, so here is how I style my own culottes that I never knew it was in my wardrobe till some while back.

Styling Culottes with Crop top paired with Wedge

With a Vintage Waistcoat and Sneakers to give it a relaxed and casual  look.

Culottes can be paired with flats also, people feel culottes can be paired only with heels, but thats not so.

    Culottes paired with Court heels

Other Ways of Pairing /Styling Culottes

Culottes can be in other forms also,

These and many more, I would like to know how you will style your own culottes. Have a lovely Week!

OUTFIT II BUTTON-DOWN SHIRT x TARTAN MIDI SKIRT.

I took my rest in sleep, and then again I was awake; for the Lord was my support - Psalms 3:5.

      Hey Dear,

How have you been? and how was the weekend? . Mine was great and fun, surprisingly enough. So I am doing an Outfit post on My Day. Yh, today is my Birthday (whoop! whoop!) *fireworks* (lol). I am officially 19. Shoutout to all whose birthday is this month. We Special!!.

So i was confused on what to call this skirt, either a Tartan or a Plaid midi skirt, but I stuck with Tartan because it has more of Tartan Designs than a Plaid, though its not of the material (lol). If you want to know more of how a Plaid looks like go here . This is a Button -down Shirt with a Tartan Midi Skirt paired with court heels to give it an official look.

So what do you think of the outfit, how will you style the Tartan Midi Skirt? . See y'll later and
Stay Blessed!
TIP: Unless your teeth are sparkling white, avoid Coral and Orange Lipsticks. Instead, try Red, Pink or Plum.

                                                                                                                         Take Care,
                                                                                                                                   MW.

SELF WORTH.

" My Flesh was made by you, and my parts joined together in my mother's body. I will give you praise, for I am wonderfully and delicately formed; your works are great wonders, and of this my soul is fully conscious." - Psalms 139: 13-14.

s Self Worth, Self Esteem, Self Love all mean the same thing and that's what we all have been trying to do and constantly remind ourselves, but do we really know how to Love ourselves in Christ?. That's what God wants, not looking for love in worldly things. Most people remember to love themselves and their worth when things go bad and start looking for it in other things and ways apart from Christ, which is though good but non-lasting. We love ourselves Physically but forget to love ourselves in Christ.

Self Worth has to do with a whole lot of things, which includes:

- Right Attitude/Mentality: Believe in yourself, Have the right mentality. Jesus didn't die for you to be petty or think bad of yourself. HE saw something valuable in you to die for, always try to remember that. things may not look /feel right, but that doesn't mean you should sell yourself short. you don't need to think much of what people say or think about you.

- Recognize the Battle to Fight: Most people always feel the need to prove themselves and worth to  people and that's wrong, not all the time prove that your right, sometimes let them think what they want, not you fighting a battle with them that might cause you something more precious. sometimes let sleeping dogs lie.
Proverbs 20:3 says it all: It is an honour for a man to keep from fighting, but the foolish are ever at  war.

It's hard sometimes, but you just gotta do it.
- Self Comparison: This is something we are all guilty of, either consciously or unconsciously. Comparing ourselves to others, wanting so bad to be them.etc. Some use it as a way of building-up themselves but that's doing it in a wrong way. The Grass will look greener on the other Side but that doesn't mean it doesn't have to be Mowed.

- Playing Up to People: There is a statistic that says that out of the 100% of people you meet in life:
25% - will never like you, no matter how you persuade them to.
25%- can be persuaded to like you.
25%-  will like you and can be persuaded not to.
25%- will stand by you no matter what.
Playing up to people is seeking and looking for people's approval, sacrificing your identity to people that may not care about you or your feelings.

- Being Content: You've to be content with what you have in terms of material, spiritual gifts, talents, skills. Don't be jealous, instead Appreciate what the person has and God can give you yours if needed. Never think what you've is useless or not good enough, it might not make any meaning now, but trust me God didn't put something less in you.
1 Corinthians 12:6-7 : And there are different operations, but the same God, who is working all things in all. But to every man some form of the Spirit's working is given for the common good.

Self Worth is a journey to Self Discovery because sometimes we forget who we are and are worth and do certain things.
Never get into the petty habit of measuring your Self Worth with other people's Net Worth. - Robin.S. Sharma.

      NOTE TO SELF:
- Let your Life answer your critics.
- Learn not to make a big deal out of things you shouldn't.
- Know the battles to fight.
- Not Everyone will like you.
- Not everyone's Opinion counts, God's Only.

Hope you have a lovely Weekend Ahead!. Thanks and God Bless! Don't forget to Comment and Share.  SHARING IS HELPING.

                                                                                                                  Take Care,
                                                                                                                      MW.

BELOVED.

John 5:24- Truly I say to you, The man whose ears are open to my word and who has faith in Him who sent me, has eternal life; he will not be judged, but has come from death into life.

*pokes head through the door* Hey its Me, and I'm sorry -__-.  I know its been long I posted and I apologize. Not much been happening tho but I will give you a breakdown.
    - Laziness to subscribe for internet, because it takes a lot of process of which i wasn't ready for, but am here now *whew*
    - So I was to start a job this month, but because a lot of people applied for the job we had to write a test. The day of the test, I found out that almost all the applicants were my school mates (apart from  1 guy), the test was on a lot of things (history, analytical reasoning.etc). On my way back home, I was called that we all failed the test (I was surprised considering what I wrote but couldn't help laughing, lol). So another test was scheduled the next day and it was a funny one because this new set of questions were strictly accounting (it was an auditing firm), I answered what I was able to answer and being the only one not studying accounting, I guess y'll know the end (lol).
   - Apart from that, I have been reading a lot of books, mainly Action, Horror, Mystery-filled.etc, guess am a sucker for them and I have new posts coming up!
    - God's been Faithful and everything is going on smoothly

Enough rambling about me, how about you? what's been going on with you this past weeks. I would like to know.

P.S: It saddens my heart to know that a lot of people come on here but don't comment. I would like y'll to comment, what you think, know how you are, what's been happening.and a whole lot more. So pls do comment on my posts, Thanks!. So if you want to contact me or advice me (I'm new to this blogging thing, so I need it).
