HAIR ll STYLING BRAIDS.

"Teaching them to keep all the rules which I have given you: and see, I am ever with you, even to the end of the world." - Matthew 28:20.

Hey Dear, I know I promised a hair post and its been long coming, but its finally here *whew!*
Finally took off my Dreads of six (6) months and yeah, it saved me the stress of doing a big chop myself, wish I have a picture to share but nah -__-, will take one after the braids. Talking bout the braids, Its a lazy hairstyle because its not much (35 strands!) and long, so no need of stressing to style and all, but sometimes we need to come out of our comfort zones, Here are some ways of styling braids, either for casual look, dinner nights or work and it can work for braids, twists, crotchet braids and all. Wanted to do a video but it wasn't working out, so decided to do a pictorial step-by-step guide, hope you like it! (please bear with the pictures, I know they are of low quality)

I.

1. Free your braids out like this.
2. Take a two different sections of the front like in the picture.
3. Braid them out.
4. Tie them over, to form a knot then tuck the tips in.

5. This how it looks after doing No. 4.
6. Take the remaining part of the hair.
7. Tuck it into the knot, you've made.
8. Tada! Finished side look of it.

     II. QUEEN SHEBA
This was what my colleagues called this style when the saw me, I couldn't help laughing but it kinda go with it and I like the name. This style is kinda selective i.e. Not everyone and every time it suits one, so be careful of how you go about it and try to make it suit you.
1. Take a top section of the braids.
2. Divide the section into two, take a part round the whole, so it looks like 3.
3. How it looks when you take the first part round.
4. Braid the other half of the section.
5. Take it round.
6. Done! Finished Look.

     III. CROWN BRAIDS

1. Take out a front section of the hair and braid.
2.Take it round your hair/braids.
3. Use a bobby pin to pin it when it gets to the front.
4. and you done!

        IV. BOW UPDO

1. Pack your hair up with a scarf, rubber band or with the braids.
2. Take a little section of your braids from the two ends.
3. Tie a bow with it in front of the scarf/rubber band.
4. Done! (sorry didn't have a clearer view of the bow)

         Other Styles you can try:

Mickey Donuts: For a playful /casual look. It reminds me of Mickey Mouse ears

Braid the back of your braids till it gets to the middle, then make a bun.

Hope you do like the styles and try them out. Subscribe to get some more styling tips.  So how was your weekend and how have you been?! If you have other styles, or know of some, please share. Thanks and have a lovely Week Ahead!

                                                                                                                                  Take Care,
